White Eyelet
I have a white vintage-style dress that looks like it’s from the 1940’s . What jewerly could go with it? ?
It is made of a white eyelet material with a collar and white lace around the buttons. The buttons are crystal and they go down the front of the dress for about 5 inches. There is a matching bow to tie in the back. I also am wondering what type of shoes would go with it. I’ll try to post a picture of it soon:)
To extend the 1940’s feel, you could try wearing it with pearls or fake pearls.
Alernatively, you could try to find earrings of necklaces made of glass or crystal to match the buttons on your dress. If you go with plain jewellery, then I would suggest wearing a statement shoe – something with colour that would contrast against the dress. However, as the dress sounds quite intricate, i would go for something very simple.
