Is Monistat’s Chafing Relief Powder-Gel really the secret to flawless makeup…for less than $7 a tube?
I have oily acne prone skin… It;shard to cover up acne EVEN with mineral makeup. I use EDM. Does this stuff really work?
I’m sorry. People say it’s used as a primer. I’ve never used primer before. Just the old foundation and concealer and finishing dust..

I would like to make clear that this is a CHAFING gel. It is for areas where skin on skin contact would occur and has nothing to do with treating yeast infections. Although it is by the same company who makes that stuff.
I haven’t tried it personally, but it has great reviews and is said to be a duplicate of high end primers. I know with my primer it grips my makeup and concealer especially, making it much easier to cover things up. The ingredients of the chafing relief are pretty much identical to smashbox photofinish primer. The only thing is that these (most) primers are silicone heavy, which breaks some people out. By all means try it though, it only 7$ right? If you go to makeupalley.com there are tons of reviews from people that have/do actually use the monistat as a primer, so that might be helpful to you.
