Costume question! How to put sleeves or such on a halter top dress?
So for this play I’m in, we need a dress for a princess. We found a dress we really like, but it’s got a really low back and it’s a halter top. So it’s not very “princessie” or time period. Is there any *simple* way we can fix this?
I thought about putting a piece of mesh over the back, but I’m not sure how to correct the sleeves.
Pictures, patterns, ideas, and thoughts are appreciated.
my daughter had this issue as well… but not princess, she just had to have sleeves for a dress that she really liked.
Go to a bridal shop and see if they have some jacket *shear* that you like.
