Silk Tin
is it ok to mix Martin silk and steel with elixir strings on the high E and B?
The high strings carry a tin sound. I thought maybe the nanoweb would dampen that effect. Any thoughts?

You can do that if that is the sound you are looking for. Just make sure that they are thin . Otherwise, you can affect and twist the neck eventually.
