It sounds like you are not listening to her needs, and she is not listening to your needs. Lets start by understanding each other.
Women have a need to be loved and held by a man. A woman needs to feel secure and protected by her man. And a woman needs to love a man she can honor and respect. The whole idea of cross-dressing creates problems that many women are not able to handle.
Your brain is hard-wired to release dopamine and other neurotransmitters, when you feminize yourself. These chemicals produce sensations of well-being, pleasure, sexual gratification and self-identity. These are powerful chemicals. They affect the reward centers of your brain, so you may feel as if you NEED to cross-dress.
You are not going to rewire your brain and neither is your wife. You are going to have to learn to make compromises. Your wife needs to be the most important thing in your life. She cannot play second fiddle to your cross-dressing. Look for a support group like Tri-Ess in your area and attend some meetings. They also have support sessions for the wives of cross-dressers.
