Minimizing Bra
Does wearing a bra affect chest-toning exercises?
When I do chest toning exercises, in a hope of minimizing breast saggage, I don’t wear a bra, because I thought that if the bra was supporting them the muscles would have to work less, and get worked less.
But now I’m wondering if wearing a bra will help keep the breasts in a good position for exercising.
Or does it make no difference whatsoever?
The exercises I do are push-ups, weight lifts from lying on the floor, some other ones that are a bit complicated to write, and some stretches.
It can effect muscular development if…..
1) It effects the range of motion(ROM) of the exercise. Full contraction is required for activation and recuritment of all muscle fibers.
2) If the exercise is a multi-joint exercise and the item of question(bra, gloves, straps, etc) force other minor muscle out of play. This obvious effects strength but also muscular imbalances.
I really don’t see any other problem than that…
