What is the most effective way to use blue emu or icy hot?
I have pain in my achilles tendonl, and I use blue emu. It does help, but i was wondering, is it better to apply it when the tendon is stretched out, or when its in the position where i experience pain? Is there anything extra i should do (besides take an oral pain medication) that would make the blue emu more effective?
Applying Icy-Hot or Blue Emu to the affected area is best after you have stretched it. first I recommend applying a heating pad to warm the muscles first about 15 Minutes. If you do a strenuous workout apply ice or a cold pack afterwards for about 15-20 min. If the pain continues, You might have a serious problem developing. Check with a Physical therapist. Tendonitis can be from more than just working out so get it checked.
