What color/type of shoes should I wear with a short black dress?
What color/type of shoes do you think I should wear to go along with a short black dress? I want something with as little heel as possible because I’m going to be walking a lot. Would flats not be a good idea? Any ideas/pictures would help 
Edited to add: the dress is short and simplistic. No frills or anything, it’s for graduation.
Noooo not flats! You’ll never feel more frumpy than wearing flats at a wedding.
It really depends what the dress is like. If it’s plain, no ruffles or anything, I’d go for some classy black patents. Get ones with a heel, but not a wedge, and peep toe ones are very in at the moment. Alternatively, match it to your bag or other accessories
If you’re wearing a very long dress, or something with a lot of detail, go for a silver or gold sandal with a kitten heel.
